The winner of multiple CoStar® Power Broker of the Year and Commercial Real Estate Council awards, Monty has represented many national and regional tenant/users in the marketplace. Distinguished throughout the industry for developing dozens of high profile retail projects, Monty has brought his unique blend of expertise and ambition to spearheading the Mid-Atlantic Storage Acquisition Group since 2014.

Pam Arms

Pam Arms brings a substantial background in residential and commercial real estate development and redevelopment to the Mid-Atlantic Storage Acquisition Group. In addition, Pam’s experience as a Self-Storage owner and manager; as well as her expertise in all phases of Self-Storage construction & management including zoning, permitting, planning, and specifications make her a particularly valuable member of the team.

Jonathan Cutler

Jonathan Cutler joined The Storage Acquisition Group in 2016. As the owner of Cutler Enterprises, Inc. and the former Director of Acquisition, Purchasing and Estimating for KB Home, Jonathan brings over 20 years of commercial real estate, development and land use experience to the group. His in-depth knowledge of acquisitions, corporate structure and organizational behavior contribute greatly to the superior experience we provide our clients. Jonathan currently resides in Kansas with his wife and four children.

Susie Herring

Susie Herring brings over 25 years of mortgage lending experience to The Storage Acquisition Group. Her extensive experience in the real estate transactional field has proven to be invaluable in the area of acquisitions. A Newport News, Virginia, native, Susie met her husband while playing oboe in the high school band. She is a Radford University graduate and currently volunteers with the United States Navy and Marine Corp at the Naval Weapons Station and Cheatham Annex in Williamsburg, VA.

Robin Johnson

Robin Johnson is a Long Island, New York native. She worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Chairman of Children's Dentistry, School of Dental Medicine, State University of New York at Stony Brook for 39 years. During that time she had two articles published in respected dental journals as well as working with graduate and undergraduate dental students. After relocating to Williamsburg, Virginia she worked at Williamsburg Storage with Pam Arms prior to joining The Storage Acquisition Group as Pam Arms’ Executive Assistant.

Chris Nielsen

Chris has been involved in the acquisition of investment property and development for over 10 years in the Midwest. After being recruited back to Nebraska from Washington D.C in 2007 to work on a Senate campaign, he became interested in economic development and real estate. His experience spans a 17 state footprint and transactions involving warehouses, enclosed malls, power centers, multifamily, 1031 exchanges and single triple net investments. He joined the Storage Acquisition Group in 2016 and has been applying his expertise to acquisition opportunities in the Midwest.

Fred Paris

Fred Paris brings 40 years of experience in planning, economic development, and commercial real estate to the Mid-Atlantic Storage Acquisition Group. Fred has been responsible for 8 closings in Virginia and South Carolina to date, totaling 375,274 square feet, and has several other deals in the works up and down the East Coast. Fred’s philosophy is that friendly, courteous, and professional interaction with prospective clients will always lead to successful closings and a favorable experience for all concerned.

Brent Robbins

Brent Robbins joined the Storage Acquisition Group in 2016. He brings over 10 years experience in the commercial real estate industry specializing in the integration of technology and market analytics. With an extensive background in consultative sales and marketing, Brent’s focus is to deliver guidance and value to a growing national network of self-storage operators as they navigate the sale of their facilities. He currently resides in the Washington D.C. area with his wife and two young children.

David Spencer

David Spencer grew up in South Carolina and has called Decatur, Georgia, home for the last twenty years. He began working with the Storage Acquisition Group in 2016 to develop and assist with acquisition opportunities across the Southeast. David’s comprehensive background in real estate development, telecommunications, technology, and environmental regulation enable him to navigate complex deals and keep projects moving in a positive direction for all parties.

K. C. Spencer

K. C. Spencer is a lifelong resident of the Peninsula and a graduate of Christopher Newport University with more than 15 years of familiarity with sales and marketing, residential and commercial real estate and property management. Now K. C. is ready for a new challenge and is bringing his multifaceted experience to the Mid-Atlantic Storage Acquisition Group.

William Sitar Jr., Esq.

William Sitar Jr., Esq., joined The Storage Acquisition Group in 2016. As the Vice President of Sitar Realty Company, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the group. Mr. Sitar’s diverse background in real estate brokerage, legal services, development and the financial sector enable him to provide comprehensive solutions during the acquisition process. In addition to being a licensed New Jersey real estate salesperson, Mr. Sitar has a law license in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In 2008, he was recognized as an “All-Star Commercial Real Estate Broker” by Real Estate New Jersey. Mr. Sitar holds a Master of Business Administration from St. Peter’s College located in Jersey City, N.J., a J.D. from Seton Hall University located in Newark, N.J. and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College.

Brett MacDougall

Brett MacDougall joined The Storage Acquisition Group in 2017. His strong passion and background in commercial real estate is evident through his dedicated approach to business, his team and clients. Currently based out of Denver, Colorado, Brett’s primary focus is on business development in that region. His past experience includes work in the retail and industrial business lines for a national commercial real estate firm. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. His proficiency in various areas of commercial real estate enables our philosophy of a simple and seamless sales process.

Attic Self Storage Portfolio

David Spencer of the Storage Acquisition Group has brokered the sale of the Attic Self Storage portfolio. This eight facility portfolio consists of 3,952 self storage units and covers an expanse of over 652,000 square feet in the greater Atlanta metro. The facilities sold on August 31, 2017.

Planet Self Storage Portfolio

The Storage Acquisition Group would like to congratulate William Sitar Jr. Esq., TSAG affiliate agent based out of Iselin, NJ, for the sale of the Planet Self Storage portfolio. This fourteen facility portfolio, which covers over 635,000 square feet, is comprised of 6,272 self storage units. The portfolio includes facilities in CT, NJ, PA and MA. The sale was finalized on August 31, 2017.

North Point Self Storage

Pam Arms of The Storage Acquisition Group has brokered the sale of North Point Self-Storage in Dundalk, MD. The facility, totaling 48,200 square feet and comprised of 435 units, is located at 2613 North Point Boulevard in Dundalk, MD. The facility sold on April 7, 2017.

Caton-Wilkens Mini Storage

Pam Arms of The Storage Acquisition Group has brokered the sale of Caton-Wilkens Mini Storage in Baltimore, MD. The facility, totaling 76,549 square feet and comprised of 743 units and 27 RV spaces, is located at 3220 Wilkens Avenue in Baltimore, MD. The facility sold on March 30, 2017.

Harpers Road Self Storage, Virginia Beach

Fred Paris and Monty Spencer of The Storage Acquisition Group have brokered the sale of Harpers Road Storage Center. The facility, totaling 110,620 square feet and comprised of 376 climate controlled and non-climate controlled units, is located at 1533 Harpers Road, Virginia Beach, VA. The facility sold on February 9, 2017.

Viera Self-Storage, Rockledge, FL

Pam Arms of The Storage Acquisition Group has brokered the sale of Viera Self-Storage, a Rockledge, Florida self-storage property. The facility, totaling 35,780 square feet and comprised of 338 climate controlled and non-climate controlled units, is located at 5900 U.S. Hwy 1 in Rockledge, FL. The facility sold on November 17, 2016.

Richland Self-Storage, Aiken, SC

Fred Paris and Monty Spencer of The Storage Acquisition Group have brokered the sale of Richland Self-Storage, an Aiken, South Carolina self-storage property. The facility, totaling 62,615 square feet and comprised of 528 climate controlled and non-climate controlled units, is located at 3809 Richland Avenue West in Aiken, SC. The facility sold on November 10, 2016.

Duke Self Storage, Four Facilities

Pam Arms of The Storage Acquisition Group has brokered the sale of four Duke Self-Storage facilities. The first two, one totaling 111,800 square feet and comprised of 1156 climate controlled and non-climate controlled units, located at 1621 Huguenot Road in Midlothian, VA; and the second totaling 44,690 square feet and comprised of 358 climate controlled and non-climate controlled units, located at 10361 Kings Acres Road in Ashland, VA closed on November 1, 2016.

The remaining two closed on November 9, 2016: one facility, totaling 48,652 square feet and comprised of 469 climate controlled and non-climate controlled units, located at 13104 Mountain Road in Glen Allen, VA; and the second facility, totaling 56,440 square feet and comprised of 414 climate controlled and non-climate controlled units, located at 1759 Huntington Lane in Rockledge, FL.

Parham Road Self-Storage, Richmond

Fred Paris and Pam Arms of The Storage Acquisition Group have brokered the sale of Parham Road Self-Storage. The facility, totaling 46,096 square feet and comprised of 475 climate controlled and non-climate controlled units, is located at 2701 E. Parham Road in Richmond, VA. The facility sold on October 21, 2016.

Albin-Ridge Storage, Winchester

Pam Arms of The Storage Acquisition Group has brokered the sale of Albin-Ridge Storage. The facility, totaling 50,750 square feet and comprised of 445 climate controlled and non-climate controlled units, is located at 202 Indian Hollow Road in Winchester, VA. The facility sold on July 18, 2016.

Barber Storage, Virginia Beach

Monty Spencer, Director of The Storage Acquisition Group, has brokered the sale of Barber Storage, a Virginia Beach area self-storage facility. The property consisted of 50 acres in total with improvements totaling 389,516 square feet which were comprised of 952 climate controlled and non-climate controlled units. The property is located at 2424 Castleton Commerce Way in Virginia Beach, VA. The facility sold on June 17, 2016.

Two Hampton Roads Area Facilities

Fred Paris and Monty Spencer of Mid-Atlantic Commercial have brokered the sale of two self-storage properties in the Hampton Roads area for Prime Group Acquisitions, LLC. Fort Storage, a 101,000 SF facility located at 2649 Production Road in Virginia Beach was sold on December 19, 2014 for $8,500,000 and Greenwood Storage, a 62,305 SF facility located at 3959 Garwood Drive in Portsmouth was sold on December 20, 2014 for $6,950,000. The facilities are comprised of both climate and non-climate controlled units.

Three Williamsburg Facilities

Fred Paris and Monty Spencer of Mid-Atlantic Commercial have brokered the sale of three self-storage properties in the Williamsburg Area for Prime Group Acquisitions, LLC. The three facilities, comprised of both climate and non-climate controlled units and representing over 180,000 gross square feet, are located at 5151 Mooretown Road, 6515A Richmond Road, and 9297 Pocahontas Trail. The facilities sold in May, 2014 for a total of $15,100,000.

Two New Jersey Facilities

Fred Paris and Monty Spencer of Mid-Atlantic Commercial have brokered the sale of two self-storage properties in New Jersey for Prime Group Acquisitions, LLC. The two facilities, totaling 77,325 SF and comprised of climate and non-climate controlled units, are located at 1005 Route 9 South & 3414 Bayshore Road, Cape May, New Jersey. The facilities sold on June 1st, 2015 for a total of $6,500,000.

Four Hampton Roads Area Facilities

Fred Paris and Monty Spencer of Mid-Atlantic Commercial have brokered the sale of four self-storage properties for $11,975,000. The facilities, totaling 172,012 square foot and comprised of 1,350 climate & non-climate controlled units, are located at 4815 Station House Road in Chesapeake, 5868 Jefferson Avenue in Newport News, 5393 Mooretown Road in Williamsburg and 18539 Mary Ball Road in White Stone. The sale closed on January 29, 2016.

Two North Carolina Facilities

Fred Paris and Monty Spencer of Mid-Atlantic Commercial have brokered the sale of two North Carolina self-storage properties for Prime Group Acquisitions, LLC. The two facilities, totaling 106,775 square foot, are located at 2675 Whiskey Road in Aiken, NC and 441 Clemson Road in Columbia sold on January 4, 2016 for $6,500,000. Both facilities are comprised of both climate and non-climate controlled units.
